The work will span the system selection, FEED, detailed design and execution phases of prospect development.

Accountabilities:

The successful applicants will be involved with the design, construction, testing, installation, and/or start-up activities of subsea systems; including tendering and contracting of new contracts and contractor supervision and management of existing contracts, and input into design of future projects. The scope will also involve providing support to Bonga subsea surveillance team in the planning and execution of intervention activities for subsea facilities, including inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) for subsea producing assets, pipelines and structures.
Client currently has two flagship projects, that are pre-DG-3.

Some Accountabilities
* Champion project engineering contributions to ORP deliverables such as cost estimates, VARs, and Project Execution Plans.
* Monitor progress throughout the project phases and understand how the delivered system meets the project requirements/specifications.
* Ensure that all deliverables and responsibilities defined in the DCAF/project PCAP are carried out.

Client is looking to hire experienced Expat Principal Riser Engineers
Purpose:
The Principal Riser Engineer will report directly to the Head, Civil / Marine Engineering and will be responsible for carrying design/ of riser and mooring systems in current and future projects in the DW offshore area and to offshore SPDC projects and assessment of riser and mooring systems in existing assets. She/He will be part of a group of discipline engineers within the Deepwater Projects Department using professional skills to provide solutions to a range of Technical Structural issues and supply input to projects and plant changes to ensure that fit-for-purpose solutions are provided for the installation. The Engineer will act as guardian of the defined design/operating envelopes of risers and related equipment with respect to offshore structures discipline and participate in the design of current and future projects in the DW offshore area and to offshore SPDC projects. The position requires working closely with Projects, the offshore Asset Engineering and other disciplines in the floating systems and subsea organisations and to visit the FPSOs and facilities.
Some Accountabilities:
Undertake front-end engineering studies, as required, to identify and develop performance improvement changes.
Carry out all necessary engineering analyses, including global analysis, riser analysis, structural Finite Element Analysis, to support engineering design of production, water injection, gas lift and umbilical risers as well as stress/flexjoints.
Ensure that all proposed modifications allow safe operation of facilities and maintain technical integrity
Prepare drawings and technical/project specifications and datasheets for riser systems in line with functional requirements as stated in the Basis of Design.
Carry out installation analysis for risers including pulling-in studies, verification studies for the umbilicals and installation of new I-tube on Main Hull. Analysis would be performed for various methods of installation as may be required using proprietary softwares.
Lead or Participate in design reviews, audits and other structural-related reviews. Conduct intra and multi-discipline technical reviews including HAZOPs, Constructability reviews, Reliability and Availability and Maintainability Studies and reviews, etc.
Demonstrate personal commitment to company HSSE objectives and motivate own team to be HSSE champions.
Development and compilation of tender/bid packages for riser systems.
Contribute to the development of global analysis/riser engineering skills of new engineers to be able to carry out such work
Requirements:

BSC in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Subsea Engineering, or equivalent.
10 years experience in deepwater Environment

Purpose:

The Subsea and Umbilicals (SSU) Lead will functionally report to the Subsea & Pipeline Manager (SS&PL), and will be responsible for the technical delivery of the Subsea and Umbilicals scope of work on the project through the Select phase up to DG-3 and to First Oil, and to work with the other discipline groups within the project to deliver a totally integrated subsea system, safely, to the specified quality, within budget and schedule.
She/He will lead a team of engineers through concept selection, systems selection, development of specifications, tendering, detailed design, manufacturing, offshore installation and commissioning of the subsea hardware, controls, controls distribution and umbilicals (SSU) for the project.

Accountabilities:
In particular, the BSWA Subsea and Umbilicals Lead’s accountabilities include:
* Delivery of the BSWA Subsea and Umbilical system, and field installation of all associated infrastructure in accordance with Shell policies and standards, ready for introduction of hydrocarbons by Q1 2020, within budget and no LTI recorded.
* Establish and implement HSSE and quality management systems within the Subsea team.
