AT&T LG Optimus G Pro Specs Get Leaked, Coming With 5.5 Inch Full IPS Display And 1.7 GHz Snapdragon 600

So much for the surprise factor! LG is not going to have much left to reveal at their Optimus G Pro event in New York next Wednesday. Over the last few months we have gotten glimpses here and there regarding hardware and design, but now it seems that we have one of the last pieces to the proverbial puzzle in regard to possible variant specs for the AT&T version of the device.

According to sources, the Optimus G Pro for AT&T will include a 5.5 inch display . It will also sport a 3,140mAh battery, 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 processor (with 2GB RAM) and, of course, a whopping 32GB of storage that can be upped to 64GB with the use of a microSDXC. There will be a 2.1MP front-facing camera and a 13MP rear-facing camera, NFC, and WiFi.
It looks like the only difference between the global Optimus G Pro and the AT&T variant will be screen technology related. The AT&T version uses a Full HD IPS panel instead of the True HD-IPS+ that is being used in the original version. Also, the AT&T Pro will employ its carriers LTE capabilities.

Much to the dismay of Android lovers everywhere, it looks as though the Optimus G Pro from AT&T will be shipping with the slightly older Android version 4.1.2 instead of the newer (and better) 4.2.2.
Not enough info for you? Well stay tuned! The big LG Optimus G Pro launch is coming next week and everything we don’t know (which isn’t much!) will be revealed!
