Eedris Abdulkareem, "I Provided Employment For The Federal Government Of Nigeria"

Popular rapper and Nigerian Hip-Hop pioneer artiste Eedris Abdulkareem is such an obstinate person. Recently the controversial rapper was cut up in between talking about his new music album and about his veteran status and the extent he went as to providing employment for the Federal Government of Nigeria.


“I remember when we started and people were saying rap music is not it. But we have been able to create employment for the Federal Government out of rap music and I’m happy to have been a part of history, veteran status. So now it’s payback time, and we are looking for the Government to regulate our industry”.

Eedris recently released three new singles. One of them is a tribute to Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti and features son Femi. The second single, “Shekere” features rapper Vector.
