12-Year-Old Girl Has Higher IQ Than Einstein

Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and Bill Gates all have nothing on 12-year-old Neha Ramu. This little genius scored a 162 on the Mensa IQ test — the highest possible score!
The Telegraph reports that Ramu, who was born in India, moved to Great Britain when she was 7 with her parents, who are both doctors. She was always bright, according to her parents, but they didn’t realize just how bright until she applied to a prestigious grammar school and scored perfectly on the admissions test. That was two years ago, and Neha has now made headlines with her second perfect score, on a much more famous test. “The [Mensa] IQ test is designed to test a range of abilities to determine the intelligence level of the student. In the UK, the average person achieves a score of 100.”

Neha says, ”I’m really, really happy because I found the test quite hard and I wasn’t really holding out much hope that I’d be a member of Mensa.”

Neha is a definitely a marvel. In addition to excelling in school, she is also making academics part of her life year round. Rather than enjoy summer break, she asked her parents if she could continue her studies by going, “to a three-week academic summer camp in America to learn about the brain and the body’s nervous system.” While most kids would cringe at the idea of school over summer break, Neha had a great time.

Her mom said, “I am so proud of her. Although she’s been doing well at these kind of tests for some time now, this is just marvelous. I can’t express the feeling.”

Her parents have every reason to be proud. This girl really is something special.
