Don Jazzy Vs Wande Coal: War of Words!!!

Ever heard the saying that, "when two elephants fight, it’s the grass that suffers"? Anyway, there's been this thing going on in the Naija Hip Hop scene lately. Precisely in the "Mavin Records" company; it’s a skirmish (sorta), between Marvin Records boss, (Don Jazzy) and a supposed member and faithful (Wande Coal).

For those who haven’t yet realized or heard about the seemingly boisterous "war of words" between this two, here it is. The fight seem to be about a song "Baby Face” right now, Don Jazzy claims to have done a demo for it time back - that Wande Coal released and that is pulling down the charts right about now. Its "smoking hot" some say. I haven’t listened to the music myself...yet...actually. My major concern however is what would make such respected folks as Don Jazzy, and Wande Coal, of the Hip Hop community get here...to the point of almost "mudslinging" on tweeter? Bringing the whole world; as it were, into their "personal" biz...

In some quarters, some believe that they - Don Jazzy and Wande Coal are both grown adults and stars in their rights - have failed their many fans. There's so much dirty lather flying in the air from the dirty linens both these dudes are washing in the open and it stinks.

It’s clear that Wande Coal released a song bearing the shadows of Don Jazzy. He clearly stole the song on his way out of Mavin Records, earlier this year. He must've stashed somewhere in his coat pockets the "Don's" delicious pastry, Baby Face - a highlife single. And we all know it’s wrong to steal...bad boys do that a lot. So, some are of the opinion that WC, should do the right thing and "give honour to whom it’s due". These guys are grown-ups jor... #jezsaying!!!
