Galaxy Star
Samsung has just announced the release of a new smartphone into the Indian market called the Galaxy Star. This latest offering is Samsung’s latest effort at an entry-level smartphone that provides users with the ‘smartphone experience’ at a fraction of the price of high-end flagship phones.

This is great news for Indian smartphone lovers who want a great phone at a low price. Powered by a super-fast processor, the Galaxy Star has dual-SIM capabilities, intuitive motion UI, and smart-multimedia features. The outlook is that the Galaxy Star will be a great all around performer in the smartphone world.
The Head of Samsung India, Vineet Taneja, has this to say about the release of the Galaxy Star:
“In line with our commitment to providing Smartphones to a wider set of consumers, I am happy to announce the launch of Galaxy Star – a device that provides superior value to consumers based on its advanced features, intuitive performance and superior design features. We want more and more feature phone users to upgrade to the Samsung Galaxy Star.”
With the latest 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, the new Galaxy Star looks like an excellent value for consumers who are seeking a smartphone on a budget and with an MSRP of Rs. 5240 (or 95 USD), the price can’t be beat.
